Choose English or French and answer 36 graded questions covering grammar, vocabulary, meaning, register and reading-in-context. Allow around 15–20 minutes.
The test now scores performance inside six separate difficulty bands — A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 — instead of simply counting a handful of mixed questions.
This multiple-choice test estimates receptive language knowledge and use of language. A full CEFR assessment also involves speaking, listening and writing, so this is not an official CEFR certificate.
